Staff were super friendly n helpful, the bar had an amazin selection of beers on tap, and the breakfast was just perfect. The beer garden is huge and perfect for chillin out after a long ride. We were a group of cyclists and they even let us store our bikes safely in the bar! Definitely worth a visit if ur in the area.
The only issues we had was that it was a bit noisy at night n the wifi didn't work well. But overall, it was a great stay!

We just loved how clean and comfy our room was. The breakfast was a real treat with local fare that filled us up! The balcony was perfect for chilling out and enjoying the lovely garden view. The only hiccup was that the floors creaked a bit, but honestly, it didn't bother us much. 😊

Perfect countryside escape
Had a lovely couple of nights here! The staff were super friendly and the room was nice and spacious, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was great too. Only thing was that the bar could get a bit crowded at night with limited seating. Still, a great spot.

Food excellent, especially the local specialties. Room too hot and noisy from outside deliveries early in the morning.

We explored two beautiful spots-Bowland Wild Boar Park for some fun with the animals and the Lancashire Witches' Walk with fine views. The staff were friendly, and we loved the comfortable rooms. Enjoyed delicious food with a great selection for breakfast and dinner.
The floorboards in our room were a bit noisy, especially at night, which interrupted our sleep.

Charming Stay with Delicious Food!
The staff were attentive and helpful, especially Rebecca, who guided us through gluten-free options on the menu. I relished the spicy Thai curry that paired perfectly with rice. A hidden gem for anyone exploring the area!

The Waddington Arms delivered a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. I loved the log wood burner. My room featured stylish decor, and the large bed provided much comfort. Breakfast stood out with plenty of variety, and every option I tried was delicious. The location allowed easy access to scenic walking trails. The noise from the nearby road and ringing church bells disrupted sleep. Wi-Fi issues became a hassle at times, affecting my ability to connect. I wish there were more comfortable seating options for seniors, as it could enhance the overall experience for all guests.

missingWrote a review on 02 Julcreaky floors
The experience didn't come without bumps. The floorboards in the room creaked loudly, which turned into a symphony of noise from the room above, disrupting sleep. The shower had noticeable dampness on one wall, giving an uneasy feeling about hygiene. Schedules also proved tricky, as breakfast ended at 9 AM that some might not prefer. Finally, being charged £25 for an hour of late checkout felt out of place, especially when some nearby establishments offered it free, and the Wi-Fi connected but dropped out occasionally, which became frustrating when trying to check up on things.

Really good food and warm hospitality
Our spacious and comfortable room was complemented by the thoughtful touch of fresh milk for coffee. Dinner in the snug was a treat, with an extensive menu with beautifully presented local dishes like black pudding scotch egg and good fish and chips. Breakfast was another highlight, offering delicious, thoughtfully presented options. The only downside was that the noise from other guests in the morning was a bit disruptive, but overall, a wonderful experience.
